MiniWind 2200-24, MiniWind 2200-48 & MiniWind 2200-300
(Grid-Tie System)
The MiniWind 2200 series is part of our core product, Rugged Downwind turbine range, and incorporates our unique RC2200-20 & RC2200-105 PM Generators.
3 Models available :
- MiniWind 2200-24, designed specifically to recharge 24V Lead Acid Battery Banks with a capacity of over 400Ahr
- MiniWind 2200-48 will charge 48V 400Ahr Battery Banks. Each low voltage turbine is supplied with a 100A 3-Phase Bridge Rectifier box, giving a DC Output, for direct connection to your batteries, via our unique low voltage controller (optional, but recommended), this allows you to take the three phase power down the tower and right to your battery bank, thus saving you money by allowing the use of lighter cabling, and also minimising voltage losses.
- The MiniWind 2200-300 has it's rectifier fitted in the high voltage controller, again allowing the three phase output to be brought down the tower, and along into the controller, and then into the Grid Tied Inverter.

MiniWater Pelton & Turgo Hydro Turbine Components
We have developed a unique range of Pelton & Turgo Cups, allowing the individual to manufacture complete Pelton & Turgo Turbines using a variety of generators, including our own flexible range of Permanent Magnet Generators. These Pelton/Turgo Cups are moulded in very durable Polycarbonate plastic, and are easily replaceable if they become worn or damaged. Their design allows the user to create a wide range of wheel diameters, but we can supply a moulded plastic pelton disc of 260mm diameter to match the performance of our 2200W PMG range of generators. We can supply a drawing of this wheel if you need to use the design to make a larger one for your site, although the 260mm wheel with 24 cups can handle a system of up to 5Kw, or even up to 10Kw by using 2 wheels on one shaft, with multiple jets.
Each Cup is secured to a Pelton/Turgo Disc by means of a single M6 stainless steel nut & bolt. The design of our discs gives a very robust mounting of the cups, allowing the completed pelton/turgo wheel to be used with up to 4 jets of 20mm diameter, giving powers from a few hundred watts to over 4500W. The flexibility of this design allows the user to match the pelton/turgo turbine's performance to the available water head and flow rate.

Generators (2200W New Version)
These are our newly launched 2200W Permanent Magnet Generators (PMG) and are manufactured to our own specification, and have a high power output capacity for their physical size and weight. 2 models available
- RC2200-20 for use in low voltage (24 to 48V DC) applications
- RC2200-105 for use in high voltage and Grid-Tied applications
